We meet for 1 hour and 25 minutes to allow us time to take a holistic view of your entire application package - CV/PHP, cover letter/motivation statement, and answers to screening questions, when applicable.

I would aim to purchase the service at least 1 week ahead of any application deadline.

1. When you click the button to buy, you'll be asked to fill in your personal and payment information (debit/credit card or PayPal) to complete the purchase.
2. You will receive a confirmation email with instructions on what to do next and what I need from you in order to prepare for our session.

Here is an outline of the service and approximate time demands for each step. Time between steps may vary:

1. You identify a relevant vacancy for us to use as a reference job for the application review - approx 0-1 hr)
2. Recommended: Watch the bonus mini-course and masterclass - approx 2-3 hrs
3. You do some light editing - obvious things you know to do, so we can go deeper when we meet (1 hr)
4. You send me your chosen vacancy and your lightly edited application documents (up to 3) in editable format (5 min)
5. Upon receipt, I will send you a link to a calendar where you book the live review session (within 1 business day), and you may book any available time slot on the calendar within the next 2 weeks. In the meantime, I am doing a preliminary review of your documents to prepare for our meeting.
6. We meet for 1 hr 25 min, during which we collaborate to shape and sharpen your documents (1h 25 min)
7. You make further edits, updates, and polish the documents and send them to me (varies, estimated 2-4 hours)
8. I will review your finalized documents and make any recommendations to fine-tune them further (within 2 business days)

When I send your documents back after the final review, the service is concluded.

I recommend you allow at least one week between booking and any application deadline. If you need a quicker process, please consider the quicker Application Review - Essentials service instead.

1. Go through the mini-course on Understanding UN Vacancies - even if you have applied before and even if you already work for a UN organization! 
2. Watch the Masterclass about Answering Screening Questions.
3. Make light edits based on what you already know and what you learn by watching these two resources.
4. You may also reflect on anything in particular that you find challenging when writing your applications. Maybe it's formulating achievements, expressing yourself within character limits, or knowing how to highlight transferable skills.

Absolutely. Most of the suggestions and advice I give are universally applicable. With my background in private-sector staffing as well as the impact sector, I have recruited for roles at a wide range of organizations, from large multinational corporations to small NGOs.

After our session, you'll have documents full of edits and lots of ideas and suggestions to incorporate in your own time. After the final review, you will likely only need to make some minor tweaks before it's submission-ready!

RESCHEDULING:
If you need to reschedule, you need to do so at least 24 hours in advance.

If an emergency occurs, and you need to reschedule less than 24 hours before the time of our appointment, you will not be able to reschedule, but I will record my recommendations and send them to you for next steps.
