If you've been around for a while, you know I'm a fan of James Clear, and in his latest newsletter, he quoted Gurwinder Bhogal, who wrote:
“We assume that the more arguments we give, the better our case. In reality, our weakest arguments dilute the strongest. Generally, you’ll only be as convincing as your worst point, so instead of making as many arguments as you can, make only the best.” (emphasis added)
Mic drop (jaw drop for me 🤯)
This couldn’t better capture what I try to convey about writing job applications – it’s about curating your content. Deliberately. Selectively. Thoughtfully.
Fewer arguments, stronger case.
Let your most relevant experiences and accomplishments shine without distraction.

Wishing you sharp focus and strong selections.
