Here's a quick tip for a super-speedy CV refresh: update your font.

Outdated fonts can make your CV look like it hasn't been updated for ages - or worse, like you're not keeping up with the times!

Fonts like Times New Roman or Comic Sans practically shout “dated”.

For a modern touch, go for a thin, sans serif font like Helvetica or Verdana.

In case you weren't aware, "sans serif" means that the letters lack the little "feet" (serifs). Serif fonts (letters with "feet") were originally created to help guide the eye in print, but on screens, sans serif is easier to read and, aesthetically, looks more modern.

So here's your action plan: ➡️ Open your CV  ➡️ "Select All"  ➡️ Change the font  ➡️ Correct the formatting (if messed up by the font change) and Voila! 🎉 You've just given your CV the fastest makeover ever.
